For the past year, I’ve been working with a team of reproductive justice advocates to repeal a California policy that discriminates against low-income women and families. I embarked on this effort as part of my fellowship with the Women’s Policy Institute. A project of the Women’s Foundation of California, the WPI is designed to equip women to advocate and cultivate grassroots leaders.
